Welcome to Hades Summer Camp Zine!
After the amazing welcome and reaction to our previous zine: Hades High School, we couldn’t just sit around and we were having too much fun… so we decided to do another one.Hades Summer Camp Zine is an unofficial fan project and it isn’t affiliated to Supergiant Games in any capacity. This zine will feature illustrations, comic pages, and written pieces. You'll be able to see many familiar names, as some of our contributors from Hades High School appear in this zine as well. Hades Summer Camp Zine takes the characters from Supergiant Games' HADES to a summer camp setting... because who doesn't love camping?This zine will feature illustrations, comic pages, and written pieces. We plan on including many contributors from Hades High School as well as some amazing new members to the team! The total number of contributors might be adjusted depending on how many contributor apps are received.The zine will be available in digital and physical format, printed in A5 size (5-7/8 x 8-1/4 inches, 148 x 210 mm), with perfect binding and softcover with deluxe material. The estimate delivery for the physical zine and extra merchandise is October 2022.The zine will feature 23 illustrations, 8 short comics, and 11 written pieces... as well as lots of new and exciting merch items! Although we will be including extra merch, some items will be unlocked as stretch goals for the pre-orders. In addition to the physical edition of Hades Summer Camp, we also plan to release a digital version of the zine.Hades Summer Camp Zine is an unofficial fan project that isn’t affiliated to Supergiant Games in any capacity.

Proceeds

The proceeds from Hades High School were be donated to Girls Not Brides, a global partnership of more than 1300 civil society organisations from over 100 countries that focuses on helping women and girls. Thanks to your support. we were able to donate $4,732 to four different campaigns.This time we'll be donating half of the proceeds to Rainforest Trust
as it fitted the theme better and our planet needs a little help.For more than 30 years, they have demonstrated that safeguarding critical habitat is the most effective way to protect species. They work with local partners to develop projects aimed at securing vital habitats. By focusing their efforts on these critical sites, they can effectively contribute to helping save the world’s biodiversity.You can find out more about:

FaQ

Can you actually sell SGG’s fanart?
Back in December 2020, SGG made an official announcement that they were changing their policies about selling fanarts.. You can read the official release here.They've been so kind as to allow artists to sell fanart so we plan on following everything to the letter. We plan to make a limited run of this zine and any possible merchandise, and we will be selling everything directly to consumers. We won't use stores such as Redbubble or any of the others listed by SGG.We are also adding to any information regarding our zine that this is an unofficial project and we aren't affiliated to SGG in any capacity. We've chosen to do an AU zine because we think it's a fun idea but also we can avoid any significantly similar art / plagiarism.Are other AUs allowed?
As long as they don’t overshadow the main theme (Summer Camp), the inclusion of other AUs (anime beach episode, high school road trip…) is completely okay.What about OCs?
This zine is about canon characters that appear in the game, so no OCs are allowed.Can I draw other gods/heroes/Greek myth characters that don't appear in the game?
No, same for OCs, this zine will be focused on characters we have met in game.Can my piece feature a ship?
Canon or Fanon ships are completely fine! Just remember to keep it SFW and respect everybody’s ships, we don’t want to have a shipping war here.What ships will the zine include?
That is completely up to the contributors and their own preferences. We will try to be as transparent as possible with the contents of the zine (including pairings), but we recommend you keep an eye for previews before ordering if you are interested in purchasing the zine and the ships in it will majorly affect your decision.Can I include headcanons?
As long as they are consistent with the rest of the guidelines and canon material, go for it!Is this zine for-profit?
Half of the proceeds will be donated to a non-profit organisation decided by the contributors. The other half will go to the contributors and will be distributed equally. So the mods will be receiving the same amount as everyone else.Where is this zine based?
The mod in charge of shipping currently lives in Madrid, Spain. If this project goes through, we plan on working again with our printing service based in Europe. We’re also looking into several postal services to keep the international shipping costs as affordable as possible.Is this zine SFW?
Yes, it's SFW. Although there's shipping there are no explicit sex scenes, gore or extreme violence.Will there be any ships? Is all shipping allowed?
Short answer is yes and no. Longer one is: Although is not a romantic-centric zine, shipping is allowed, so there's both fanon and canon ships.
But not all pairings were allowed, for example, shipping adults with minors is not allowed, neither is non-con... and some other specific cases.Will there be merch?
Yes! There's a bunch of it and maybe even more that will be unlocked in with pre-orders.Will you ship to {insert your country here}?
Currently, some borders are still closed due to COVID-19 restrictions, so we’re holding on to some orders until the situation gets better. Other than this, we do ship worldwide from Spain, so keep in mind that your order might take several weeks and up to one month depending on where you live!
